BED ON COLUMNS WITH LATERAL TILITING.


Ingenious highcare has been designed to reduce patient hospitalisation slowing down the process of developing bedsores and reducing operator efforts during daily nursing. The bed has been designed for an easy cleaning and disinfection, even by immersing the monocoque elements. Foot pedals for height and tilt adjustment so operator hands are free. Dimensions and spaces comply with the standard for hospital beds CEI EN 60601-2-52.

  • The four-section platform is made of moulded one-piece plastic sections which are removable, easy to clean and disinfect and have no sharp edges or corners.

A NEW CARE BED CONCEPT

LATERAL TILTING
Ergonomics and safety to facilitate the operator.

 

The lateral tilting improves the patient physiological conditions and facilitate the operator reducing the efforts during nursing procedures.

  • RECOMMENDED FOR THE “ROTATIONAL THERAPY”: patient position changes in order to avoid bedsores.
  • PATIENT LATERAL POSITIONING: operator efforts are reduced during patient change of positions, medication and diapers changing process.
  • LUNGS FUNCTIONS IMPROVEMENT creating lung compression differences and facilitating breathing.
  • BACKREST POSITIONING AT 30° to prevent breathing problems and improve the breathing for the patient.
  • TIME REDUCTION for daily nursing.

The movements improve patient health and wellness.

Stillness increases the risk of developing complications potentially lethal and psychological problems which can have a negative impact on patients. Consequences of the stillness include an increase of hospital stay, of cure costs, higher death rate and also a higher risk of accidents at work for operators.

Backrest and leg section movements are accompanied by auto-regression to reduce pressure on the abdomen, increase patient comfort and limits the formation of pressure sores.

SITTING POSITION
A comfortable sitting position can help improve postural lung drainage, increase lung capacity or provide relief if a patient feels ill.

SHOCK POSITION
The Shock position is achieved quickly by means of a clearly visible red button. When activated, it returns the bed base to fully flat and at the same time places the bed in the Trendelenburg position.

EXAMINATION POSITION
The examination position is achieved by means of a dedicated button, thus facilitating operators when conducting examinations or when changing dressings by maintaining the patient in an upright position.

CPR POSITION
The CPR position is achieved by means of a single button, allowing operators to bring the bed quickly into a position to enable effective CPR.

Radiolucent backrest

 

The range of beds includes versions with hpl radiolucent backrest. This allows x-rays to be taken directly on the bed using mobile equipment. The radiolucent area measures 700x510 mm.
Removing the head board provides excellent access to the patient and x-rays can be made without problems.
